Ladies and gentlemen,
I am honored to stand today at this conference, speaking to you in my capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab-Chinese Commercial Associated and Cultural Exchange Council (ACC), to convey to you the experience of twenty years of giving, which is the age of the organization. Since its establishment in 2005, it has participated in adding a lot to the edifice of trade and cultural relations between China and the Arab world. There are many investment files that have been completed, such as the contract to implement the infrastructure for the new city of Doha in the State of Qatar, which was won by a major Chinese company with direct support from our organization, and the contract to establish fish farms in Egypt with a financial value of more than $ 350 million, which has moved Egypt to a qualitative leap to become among the top six countries in the field of fish farming and helped bridge the gap between production and consumption. Today, in light of global changes, the Arab-Chinese Council continues to carry out its mission of increasing the volume of trade exchange and creating investment opportunities between the Chinese people and friendly Arab peoples.
Today, we are about to open this conference, which is truly the incubator of the marriage between the digital economy and the traditional economy. There is no doubt that the digital economy came as a result of the great and rapid development in information and communications technology, and the emergence of many digital goods such as computers, gaming programs, and social networking programs, which gave developed countries a competitive advantage over developing countries. China came at the forefront of countries that adopted the digital economy, which requires a huge infrastructure and high speeds for Internet service and a tight transportation and delivery system, all in addition to cyber security, and China is a pioneer in all of this.
The amazing development in the use of the Internet and means of communication has led to the emergence of the digital economy, which has become a new means of obtaining markets that are difficult to reach through traditional economic methods, especially in light of the Corona pandemic. It is therefore a smart economy closely linked to artificial intelligence and needs to enhance cybersecurity to build bridges of trust. Between the producer and the consumer
The digital economy should not be separated from the green economy, which is the result of improving the economic situation while reducing environmental risks. It is thus the correct model for sustainable economic development. Therefore, the United Nations Environment Program defined the green economy as the economy that leads to improving the standard of living of people and social equity while maintaining the environmental balance of all forms of environmental diversity.
China is at the forefront of countries that have achieved a qualitative leap in promoting the green economy and preserving the environment and ecosystems. China has been interested in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and reducing pollution and has produced green and then blue hydrogen. The Chinese economy has become a green economy. China produces environmentally friendly fuel and relies on the water economy. It was one of the first countries to rely on afforestation, so it has become covered in a green cloak.
It did not stop there, but rather worked to share its experience with the rest of the world through the Belt and Road Organization (One Belt One Road). It was a serious attempt to enhance regional connectivity and embrace a brighter future for the whole world, focusing on investment in infrastructure, education, building materials, railways, highways, cars and real estate, all in order to raise the standard of living for China and all people in the earth.
As part of the Belt and Road Initiative, my private company, which works in the field of fish farming and aquaculture with advanced Chinese technology, has carried out several sustainable development projects in the field of fish farming in the last ten years with a financial value exceeding $ 800 million in Egypt, Africa and the Caribbean countries. We are still discussing and accepting many projects that provide job opportunities, add to the national reserve fund, and produce and provide a cheap and high-quality protein alternative.
Finally, I thank the organizers of this conference for giving me the opportunity to deliver my speech and meet with giant economic companies and organizations. Thank you for listening.
May God protect China,,,
thank you.
